It is another exciting month for everyone!
We started September off with our Instagram posts designed by our in-house Social Media Specialist – Shu Han. This is followed by the 2022 relaunch of the Coping Series Seminars. Alicia, the Events Management Executive of TLM, presented “Coping with Depression” on 10th September. This is in line with World Suicide Prevention Day 2022. Our clinicians have the opportunity in September to recalibrate, choosing from various training workshops, seminars, symposiums, etc., to attend. Our 12th intake of our Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapeutic Approaches workshop started on 4th September and is currently ongoing.
My team has discussed, recalibrated, and redesigned the workshop on the topic of our psychotherapeutic approaches workshop. If I could condense my entire clinical knowledge and skills into a 5-day workshop, this workshop would be exactly it. I have invited Shenice, TLM Community Engagement Executive, to provide an audit of the workshop. The new focus here is to develop Psychology undergraduates and recent graduates into competent Psychotherapists / Associate Psychologists. Of course, we welcome existing mental health clinicians who do not have CBT skills to join us too!
The month of October is Mental Health Month. With that, we will be having our Seminar on ‘Coping with Insomnia’ by Alicia! Do bring your friends and family to find out more about sleep hygiene! I will also have another run of the ‘Basic Counselling Skills’ workshop! More details are below.
Do spread awareness of the importance of mental well-being. Stay safe and healthy!
