Happy Holidays everyone!
This has been a busy year for The Lion Mind team despite the current COVID-19 Pandemic
Representing The Association of Psychotherapists And Counsellors Singapore (APACS), I have met up with Mr Melvin Yong, NTUC Assistant Secretary-General, and Cherie, SPS President for a breakfast meeting on 18 November 2020 (Wednesday) for workplace mental well-being. We discussed about the importance of helping employees with their work stress and burnout. We also discussed about the importance of Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Services for organisations.
On 20 November 2020 (Friday), I presented a talk on Combating Workplace Stress & Burnout with Aviva Asia. There are about 80 participants came for the webinar. In addition, I have presented a public webinar on Demystifying Counselling & Psychotherapy on 21 November 2020 (Saturday). There were many interactions from the participants as they were interested to clarify issues that they faced. I am glad that both webinars were very well received.
It is with great honour for my team that despite opening an extra workshop for CBT in January, the workshop slots have been all filled up and there are still many requests to join the workshop. We have decided to add another workshop in April 2021 to meet the demands.
As the year is ending, it is time for us to review what are the good work we have done this year and what are some of our best hope for 2021.
Have a Happy Christmas 2020!
