Beryl strives to strike a balance between providing a space for clients to feel safe and understood, and empowering them towards meaningful changes in their lives. She has more than three years of experience working with the children and youth population, and she works well with adolescents and young adults. Beryl has a Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Murdoch University, Australia.

Her approach involves working closely with clients to identify meaningful goals and build the necessary skills and strategies to enhance their mental well-being. Beryl’s therapeutic practice is rooted in an integrative, compassion-focused approach, which seeks to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each individual. She is well-versed in a range of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. These therapeutic frameworks allow her to offer a flexible and personalised approach, helping clients cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance. Beryl’s ability to blend these methods ensures her practice remains dynamic and responsive, meeting the diverse challenges her clients bring to therapy with empathy and expertise

Other Experiences
Beryl is deeply committed to giving back to the community and continuously seeks ways to make a positive impact. She volunteers actively with Youthline, a helpline dedicated to supporting youth aged 35 and below, where she provides guidance and assistance to those in immediate need. In addition, she extends her expertise as an associate counsellor with SHINE Children and Youth Services, a social service agency that focuses on empowering vulnerable young individuals. These volunteer roles not only deepen her connection with the community but also enrich her professional practice, allowing her to stay attuned to the diverse and evolving needs of the populations she serves. Her dedication to both her clients and her community underscores her holistic approach to mental health care.
