Wei Jie is the Associate Psychologist and Centre Manager with The Lion Mind. As the Centre Manager, he oversees the operational aspects of the counselling centre, ensuring smooth centre operations. As the Associate Psychologist, he provides quality counselling and counselling assessments to help his clients with their issues.
Prior to joining The Lion Mind, Wei Jie has eight years of extensive working experiences in both instructional and operations with the Navy (Singapore).
In terms of academic qualifications, Wei Jie has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Murdoch University, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He has also completed an accredited course (ACA, APACS) on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. He is also a certified Psychological First Aider. Furthermore, Wei Jie is currently a graduate student for the Master of Guidance and Counselling programme with the James Cook University Singapore (JCUS).
Wei Jie has co-presented in the Happiness Conference 2020 on the topic “Empathy Matters“.
Wei Jie is also a registered Level 1 Practitioner (membership no. A0237) and the Honorary Secretary (2020 – 2022) with the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS), playing an active role in serving the mental health industry.
