Counselling / Psychotherapy involves a professional relationship between a clinician and his / her client(s). Through this clinical process, the client will be provided with structured guidance and exploration of his / her emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. This clinical process also involves working together with the client for the assessment and for the formulation of the treatment plan. While the clinician is the subject-matter expert in providing guidance, the client is the subject-matter expert of himself/ herself.
Clinical assessments such as Psychological Diagnosis are used to help our clinicians arrive at some hypotheses about our client and their behaviour, capabilities, and personalities. They are important to help our clinicians decide what are the best treatment plans for our clients. The clinicians also help our clients to understand themselves and the reasons for feelings or behaving negatively.
All counselling/psychotherapy sessions and all clinical assessments are done in private and confidential. Our mental health clinicians are members of an accredited body in Singapore, and are certified to provide the highest level of clinical care to our clients.
The Lion Mind provides the following (but not exhaustive) services:
1. Individual counselling
- Anxiety-related issues
- Career Counselling & Vocational Assessment
- Depression-related issues
- Grief & Loss
- Obsessive-compulsive issues
- Social phobia
- Stress-related issues
Each session lasts up to 50 minutes. Each session is chargeable at $100/-
2. Psychological Services
- Psychological Assessment – The Behaviour Assessment System of Children – 3rd Edition (BASC-3 )
Each session lasts up to 3 hours. Each psychological assessment / diagnosis (including one report) is chargeable at $980/-
If there is a need for you to reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time via email. This would allow us to manage our schedule optimally. A full session fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations with less than a 24-hour notice unless it is due to illness or an emergency. A bill will be mailed directly to all clients who do not show up for or cancel an appointment.
