Hello September!
As the country has reached more than 80% population vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic, we may be on the way to a great winter holiday soon!
August has been a good busy month for my team. On 11 August, I presented a webinar on “The Definitive Guide to Combating Stress & Burnout” for Aviva’s corporate client Wiley. Rachel presented on the same topic for Aviva on 12 August. On 28 August, Shenice has presented a public webinar on “Coping with Depression”. This month, she would be presenting the webinar on “Coping with Anxiety”
We have officially started the 8th intake of the Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapeutic Approaches (CBT Specialisation) on 22 August. The new workshop syllabus is 5-week long, allowing workshop participants to have sufficient time to absorb and digest the newly acquired skills. While we are looking at the 10th intake of the CBT workshop, my team is also looking at running a new workshop – Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapeutic Approaches (Solution-focused Brief Therapy Specialisation) in 2022. So do keep a lookout for that!
Anxiety, a silent mental health illness that plagues many of us. Our school, and jobs have posed much psychosocial stress. If not managed well, these may result in the development of mental health issues such as anger management issues, burnout, OCD, anxiety attacks, and / or depression. In this COVId-19 trying times, there may be many triggers that we find difficult to cope with. If you know of anyone struggling, do refer them to seek help.
Stay safe! #SGUnited
