Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how one feels, thinks, and act. However, most people are not aware of how to deal with them. Fortunately, it is treatable through counselling. Counselling is the art of using talk therapy to support and guide people through their challenges.

In this 4-hour workshop, participants will be learning:

- What is Depression
- The theories of Depression Counselling
- Depression Intervention
- Hands-on Practice
This workshop comprised of a mixture of lectures, skills training, demonstration, discussion, role-play, class presentation, and self-directed learning.
This workshop is suitable for HR professionals, Healthcare professionals, Social Service professionals with no counselling background. Undergraduate Psychology students who are interested in the field of counselling are welcomed to apply.
- Diploma or ‘A’ levels equivalent
- Minimum C6 in GCE ‘O’ levels English or equivalent
Upon successful completion of the workshop, each participant would receive:
- Certificate of Participation in Depression Counselling & Intervention
