Her other qualification includes a Master of Letters in Managing in the Creative Industries. She is currently pursuing her Master of Counselling at Flinders University, Australia.
Vanessa adopts an integrative counselling approach to tailor to the needs of each client. She is well-versed in Person-Centered Approaches, Psychodynamic approaches, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Transactional Analysis. Outside of clinical practice, Vanessa has interests in existential and transpersonal psychology, which explore the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human condition. She adopts a holistic view of mental wellness, attending to the psychospiritual domain of the individual to understand one’s higher nature and purpose in life.

As in in-charge of the centre management at The Lion Mind (Wednesday), Siti contributes to providing quality service and handles day-to-day operations with clients. She oversees the operational aspects of the counselling centre, ensuring smooth centre operations. She also participates in various programmes and workshops and represents the organization in community outreach programs.

Siti graduated with a diploma in early childhood and child psychology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She has extensive experience working with children, including those with learning and developmental disabilities. As an Early Childhood Educator, she is equipped with observational, developmental tools and learning kits / aids to help cater to children’s needs. Siti is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Murdoch University to deepen her knowledge and skills as a future Clinical Psychologist, mainly working with youth and younger children.

Siti has taken leadership roles as a Lead Teacher and Event Planner. She has also collaborated with the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) to educate children on trolley etiquette. Vivien is a mental health clinician with The Lion Mind. She has more than five years of working experiences with children, teenagers, and youths. Over at The Lion Mind, Vivien specialises in working with the population of children, teenagers, young adults, and women. She also co-facilitates the workshop on psychotherapeutic approaches (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and helps to guide participants through their discussions.
On behalf of The Lion Mind, Vivien has co-presented in the Happiness Conference 2020 on the topic “Empathy Matters“, sharing and demonstrating the importance of having empathy. In addition, Vivien facilitates corporate talks for organisations such as ‘Combating Stress & Burnout’, ‘Combating Insomnia’, and ‘Empowering & Connecting with your Child’.

As a Clinical Director (Principal Counsellor) of The Lion Mind, James provides affordable counselling services to clients, presents public talks, and facilitates workshops. He also provides clinical directions for the organisation, and a nurturing environment for his junior clinicians to grow their clinical skills.

As a strong believer in using evidence-based treatment, he provides high-quality counselling services to his clients. James has served as the Honorary Treasurer and an Executive Committee (EXCO) member of APACS from February 2020 to February 2022. As a representative of APACS, James worked closely with other mental healthcare practitioners, and policymakers to shape the local mental healthcare scene. Weiren is the Co-founder and the Operations-In-Charge with The Lion Mind. He has extensive working experience in both logistics and business operations. As the Operations Director of the organisation, he provides directions for the operational aspects of the organisation, overseeing and ensuring smooth operations in the organisation. As the Co-founder, he represents the organisation when working with both the community partners and corporate partners in promoting mental wellness. He also plays a vital role in nurturing the growth of team members, maximizing their potentials.
On behalf of The Lion Mind, Weiren has co-presented in the Happiness Conference 2020 on the topic “Empathy Matters“, sharing and demonstrating the importance of having empathy. He had also presented on the topic “Transiting Healthily into the Workplace – Coping with Anxiety, Stress & Burnout” to Republic Polytechnic, School of Sports, Health & Leisure students on 14 July 2021.
