Siti represents the organisation in community outreach programmes. During her undergraduate studies (2022 – 2023), Siti helped oversee the counselling centre’s operations on Wednesdays, ensuring smooth centre operations.


Clinical Knowledge & Skills

Siti has extensive experience working with children, including those with learning and developmental disabilities. As an Early Childhood Educator, she is equipped with observational, developmental tools and learning kits / aids to help cater to children’s needs.

Siti has graduated with a Diploma in early childhood and child psychology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Siti is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Murdoch University to deepen her knowledge and skills as a future Clinical Psychologist, mainly working with youth and younger children. She has completed an accredited course (ACA, IOATH) on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Siti is a Student Member with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).


Other Experiences

Siti has taken leadership roles as a Lead Teacher and Event Planner. She has also collaborated with the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) to educate children on trolley etiquette. Additionally, Siti has worked with parents, principals, social workers, and speech and language therapists, demonstrating her ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various professionals.

Jingyi is the Community Outreach Executive, representing The Lion Mind in various outreach programmes and initiatives. Her role includes creating engaging and informative content for the organisation’s social media platforms, namely Facebook and Instagram, aiming to connect individuals with essential mental health resources and raise public awareness about the importance of mental well-being.

Clinical Knowledge & Skills

With extensive experience working with diverse groups, Jingyi excels in engaging with children, leveraging her background in educational and community settings to understand and support their developmental needs. She has also contributed her time and skills to volunteering with elderly populations and individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities, offering her a broad and nuanced perspective on the challenges faced by various communities.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Jingyi is committed to deepening her understanding of mental health, its complexities, and its impact on individuals and communities.

Other Experiences

Beyond her work in mental health, Jingyi is an active advocate for the creative arts. She is a key member of her university’s photography and video production committee, combining her artistic passion with her academic journey. Her recent achievements include producing a series of blended learning videos for NUS, showcasing her ability to integrate creativity and innovation in her work.
