Announcement: Centre Closure

Dear Clients and Supporters,

After much reflection, we wish to share that The Lion Mind will be permanently closing, with our last day of operations on 15 June 2025.

We understand this may come as unexpected news, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are deeply grateful for your trust and support over the years, and it has been our honour to walk alongside you in your mental wellness journey.

Notice to Clients Who Were Previously with The Lion Mind

We understand you may have questions following our closure. Below are some frequently asked questions that may help clarify your concerns.

1) Is The Lion Mind still operating?

No. The Lion Mind Limited officially ceased operations on 15 June 2025. All services, sessions, and administrative functions have concluded as of that date.

2) What happened to my case notes and personal data?
All client case notes, case records, and personal data have been securely destroyed or permanently deleted in accordance with our data protection policies:

• Audio and video recordings were deleted on 15 June 2025.
• Physical records were shredded by 30 June 2025.
• All electronic records, including case notes, were permanently deleted by 15 August 2025.

We no longer hold any client information and cannot facilitate any further transfers or requests.

3) I saw another organisation using the name “The Lion Mind.” Is that related to you?

No. As The Lion Mind Limited has officially ceased operations, any other entity or group using the name “The Lion Mind” is not affiliated with us (The Lion Mind Limited).

We are not responsible for their services, actions, or data practices. If a former clinician continues to use the name in a new capacity, they are operating independently, and all responsibilities lie with them.

4) What happened to your website and social media?

From 15 June 2025, our website only displays closure-related announcements and information. Our social media accounts have also ceased activity for The Lion Mind Limited and are no longer monitored.

5) What about appointments beyond 15 June 2025?

There are no scheduled appointments beyond 15 June 2025, as all services ceased with the centre’s closure on that date.

6) What about payments?

All payments made were fully utilised for services rendered. The Lion Mind did not offer pre-paid packages or retain unused funds, hence no refunds are required.

7) Can I still contact someone?

No. As of 15 August 2025, our voluntary responses via the enquiries line have ceased, and we are no longer contactable. After this date, the original enquiry number will return to personal use and will no longer be affiliated with The Lion Mind Limited.
