May is here!

The team has delivered six talks in April! On 14th April (Wednesday), I have presented a lunch webinar for the staff of Yishun Health (Admiralty Medical Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Yishun Community Hospital). The topic that I have presented is “Psychological Wellbeing”. This is as part of their staff wellbeing programme. On 16th April (Friday), in collaboration with Aviva, Rachel has presented the webinar on “Coping with Workplace Stress & Burnout”. On 18th April (Sunday), we have collaborated with the Youth Corps Singapore Mental Health Cluster to present for the Mental Health Ideathon 2021. Our Senior Mental Health Clinician, Kevin, presented on the topic “How Much Do You Know: Caring For Mental Health”. Our Associate Psychologist, Vivien, presented on the topic “Coping with OCD” on 17, 21, and 23 April (Saturday, Wednesday, Friday) for Lasalle. All seminar and webinar talks were well-received.

We have recently concluded the April run of the CBT workshop as well. We have another upcoming run in August. The workshop would be facilitated physically (face-to-face) across all 5 Sundays. Limited slots are available – more than 50% have been filled up!

SIM PsySoc visited us on 28th April (Wednesday) to discuss on possible collaborations. We are excited and looking forward in working with them to bring mental health awareness to the community again!

May starts off with a public holiday, reminding us of the important of taking a break once-in-a-while to recharge.

Happy Labour Day!
