It almost feels accidental, but we are now in June!
On 8th May 2022 (Sunday), I presented a webinar on The Definitive Guide – Combating Workplace Stress & Burnout for beneficiaries and staff of Tampines Central CC.
On 20th May 2022 (Friday), I presented a webinar on The Definitive Guide – Combating Impostor Syndrome to beneficiaries, staff, and volunteers of Stroke Support Station (S3). We are happy to be able to collaborate with S3 for the second time. We are in discussion of facilitating a webinar for them in 2023.
Both me and my co-founder, Weiren, were busy with the renovation of our new counselling centre. We have spent much effort sourcing for the most optimal venue that would be ideal for having counselling and workshop. With Peace Centre having its En Bloc status and the unfortunate noises caused by our new neighbours, it is with great sadness that we have to move. It is the first place we started our operations, and it will always be in our hearts.
Our new premise will allow us to better run our community outreach events and recruit volunteers and counselling interns. If you are looking to build your portfolio in mental health, reach out to us today!
We have started our 11th intake for the CBT workshop with 16 participants. This workshop is our largest intake yet. The September intake is filling up fast. We will only be taking in a maximum of 10 participants for the September intake to maximize the quality of the learning.
On behalf of The Lion Mind, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our donors, clients, community partners, corporate partners, volunteers, team members, and workshop participants. We would not have been able to keep our non-profit organization going without your generous support!
Lastly, I want to give a quick shoutout to our three kittens who have grown alongside us since 2018, and we are proud of your achievements!
