The Counsellor’s Insights

In March, we have started our 10th intake of the CBT specialisation workshop. It has been quite an achievement for us to facilitate this workshop for the 10th time, and we are grateful for our supporters who believed in us.

This Sunday is the final day of the CBT workshop. The participants will present to showcase their application of the CBT techniques learnt using a case study. I look forward to their creative ideas and seeing their growth.

We are also honoured to work with Happiness Initiative on their 10-10 Programme. Both Weiren & I reviewed the programme to ensure its high-quality standards in the clinical and operational aspects. It is critical that the programme adopts evidence-based practices and not sacrifice its feasibility. We also had the opportunity to observe the pilot programme held at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). We are happy to announce that TLM certifies the programme!

Shenice had presented a webinar on Coping with Insomnia on 20 March (Sunday). Individuals facing insomnia often feel dissatisfied with their sleep, which may adversely impact their lives. This webinar provides scientific information and practical solutions to cope with insomnia. It was well-received by the participants.

We have a new team member – Ms Wu Shu Han! She joins us as the Community Engagement Executive, and we are thankful to have her on board our team. The Lion Mind team is still looking to expand. Click here to find out more!

Lastly, I would like to wish all Muslims a blessed Ramadan!
