The Lion Mind - Workshop - Play Therapy

Parent-child interaction is crucial during the child’s early formative years. But how do parents communicate effectively with their children? Using the evidence-based concepts of Child-centred Play Therapy (CCPT), parents may learn effective skill sets in interacting with their children and improving relationships.

Play Therapy has proven effective in helping children cope with their life circumstances (e.g. abuse, trauma, broken family), improve academic performance, and develop problem-solving skills and build self-esteem. CCPT is also found to develop a child’s ability to explore and practice social skills, makings friends and understanding the world s/he lives in. CCPT allows children to be confident, focused, imaginative, and creative in a safe environment.
