The sudden announcement of Circuit Breaker and its extension have thrown most of our lives into chaos during April 2020. Although Counselling and Psychological services are initially not classified as essential, we are happy to know that our efforts through APACS has paid off! On 28th April, various allied health services, including counselling and psychology, are reclassified as essential! However, given the current situation, we strongly believe that the safety of everyone is important and we will continue to only provide online counselling during this period (except for critical cases).

With the Circuit Breaker in place, my team has been working hard to provide more online content to the community. There are reading articles on Facebook and up-to-date content on Instagram. In addition, we have facilitated online group supervision for our past CBT workshop participants. A total of eight participants attended. We are also working hard to roll out 12 in-house seminars online in May. Details here!

In addition, we are working closely with the Association of Psychotherapists & Counsellors (Singapore) (APACS) to engage the various policymakers to improve the mental health scenes in Singapore.

Special thanks to the TLM team! They were working hard (from home) to provide online counselling services, community outreach support, and operational support.

Stay Safe & Have a Great Labour Day Weekend!
