‘Tis the season to be jolly!

As the year 2019 is coming to a close, let us look back at all the positive things that this year has provided and prepared us for toward 2020.

We have achieved an excellent track record of corporate and community outreach this year, with nine corporate talks and four outreach in total. The latest outreach was a corporate talk on “The Definitive Guide to Combating Workplace Stress & Burnout” to IVICT (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. on 11 November 2019 (Monday). In addition, we have been featured a couple of times in the media. The latest media feature was our new Associate Psychotherapist Mr Amos Tan who was featured by Shin Min Daily News on 23 November 2019 (Saturday, page 7). I am grateful for my solid team of dedicated team members.

We have successfully facilitated new workshops and are making final tweaks to an exciting series of workshops for 2020. Existing workshops such as Basic Counselling Skills will be revised and updated to be even more relevant. New workshops such as Introduction to Emotion-focused Therapy, and Introduction to Solution-focused Brief Therapy are in the pipeline. Do keep a lookout for them!

With the evolving scene in the mental healthcare landscape, we would be bringing in specialized services in 2020. These may include Couple & Family Psychotherapy, Play Psychotherapy, and Psychological Assessment. We are also planning to have a more in-depth community outreach into the heartlands.

The year-end holiday season may be difficult to some of us. The Lion Mind continuously provides quality counselling and psychotherapy services at an affordable rate. Do approach us to find out more on how we could help you with your issues.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas 2019!
