In our fast-paced society, work stress, burnout, relationship issues, examination anxiety are some of the common issues faced. However, we are not taught how to deal with them. Counselling is the art of using talk therapy to support and guide people through their challenges. Come learn how to improve your communication skills and help your loved ones.



In this 4-hour workshop, participants will be learning:

  • What is Counselling?
  • The mental health professions in Singapore
  • The theories of Counselling
  • Hands-on Practice


This course is suitable for HR professionals, Healthcare professionals, Social Service professionals with no counselling background. Undergraduate Psychology students who are interested in the field of counselling are welcomed to apply.

Course Requirements:

  • Diploma or ‘A’ levels equivalent
  • Minimum C6 in GCE ‘O’ levels English or equivalent



Upon successful completion of the workshop, each participant would receive:

  1. Certificate of Participation in Basic Counselling Skills
