Clinical assessments are used to help our clinicians arrive at some hypotheses about our client and their behaviour, capabilities, and personalities. They are important to help our clinicians decide what are the best treatment plans for our clients. The clinicians also help our clients to understand themselves and the reasons for feelings or behaving negatively.

All Clinical assessments are done in confidential. Our mental health clinicians are members of an accredited body in Singapore and are certified to provide the highest level of clinical care to our clients.

The Lion Mind provides the following (but not exhaustive) services:

Psychological Assessment – BASC-3

BASC-3 is a multimethod, multidimensional system used to evaluate the behaviour and self-perceptions of children and young adults aged two to 25 years old. BASC-3 measures maladaptive behaviours that cause impaired functioning in home, school, peer relationships or community contexts, and positive behaviours. It also aids in the clinical diagnosis of behavioural and emotional disorders that usually first appear in childhood or adolescence, and aids in the design of treatment plans.

The Lion Mind offers BASC-3 Psychological Assessment for clients who requires a report to aid in their recovery journey. The Assessment covers mood disorders (e.g. Anxiety Depression), learning disorders (e.g. ADHD, Autism), and school adjustments (examination stress).

Each assessment session lasts about 20 – 40 minutes (excluding intake interview session, and / or follow-up review session).

Each psychological assessment is $980. This rate includes:

  • One assessment session, up to 40 minutes
  • One written report
